Privacy Policy

Effective 2 September 2026

eHail Radar ("we") is a job-picking and day-planning tool for professional e-hailing drivers, made up of this website (ehailradar.com) and the driver app (driver.ehailradar.com). This page explains what data we handle and why, in plain language.

On this website

The website itself has no accounts and no forms. If we run advertising, we may use the Meta Pixel to measure how ads perform and to build advertising audiences — only after you accept it in the cookie banner. If you decline, or the banner never appears, no advertising cookies are set. Data collected by the pixel is processed by Meta Platforms under their own privacy policy.

In the driver app

When you sign in to the driver app with Google we receive your name and email address. To do its job the app then holds, for your account:

We use this data to operate the service for you — not for anything else. We do not sell personal data.

Legal bases

Cookies and advertising: your consent. Running the app for you: performance of a contract. Keeping the service safe and improving it: our legitimate interests.

Who else touches the data

We rely on a small set of processors and services: Google (sign-in, maps, and Firebase hosting), Meta (advertising measurement, if you consent on the website), Cloudflare (network), and Stripe (payments, when paid plans exist). Each handles data under its own terms. Some of these providers process data outside South Africa.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. If your account is deleted, records needed for financial history (wallet transactions) are kept as required; the rest is removed or anonymised.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or withdraw consent (for cookies, clear them in your browser or use the cookie settings link in the footer). To make any request, message us on Telegram at @pcoradarsupport and we'll take it from there. You can also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so on this page with a new effective date.

eHail Radar is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Bolt. It is not an e-hailing operator or transport service and does not take bookings from passengers.
