Up and running in three steps
Signing in is the whole application. After that it's a one-time setup on your phone and the conditions you want — then the board does the watching for you.

1
Sign in to apply
Open driver.ehailradar.com and sign in with Google — that is the whole application, there is no form to fill in. Use the same email as your Bolt driver account; it is what links the two later. Your account joins the approval queue automatically and the team reviews it.
Usually approved within 24 hours -
2
Set up your phone and connect Bolt
Once you are approved, the app walks you through a one-time setup in your phone's settings, step by step, with a short video for each one. You then open the Bolt Driver app as usual and the connection links itself — nothing to type in.
iPhone only at the moment -
3
Set your conditions and let it run
Say what work is worth your time: a minimum fare, a rate per kilometre, distance, the hours you want to drive, and pickup and drop-off zones drawn on the map. Jobs that clear your bar appear on the live board as they come in — accepting one is always your decision.
Change your conditions any time
Steps 2 and 3 both happen inside the app, once your account is approved — every step is shown on screen as you go. Day to day eHail Radar runs in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer; only the one-time connection needs an iPhone.
Anywhere Bolt works, eHail Radar works
The radar follows your Bolt driver account, not a map of ours — city work, airport transfers and long out-of-town trips, in every South African area where Bolt operates.
What new drivers usually ask
Short answers to the questions we hear most, before drivers start using the system.
What is eHail Radar?
eHail Radar is a job-picking and day-planning tool for professional e-hailing drivers. You set out once what work is worth your time; the system filters out everything that isn't, and what's left appears on a live board of pre-booked jobs.
The app also keeps a schedule of today's and tomorrow's jobs, monthly earnings summaries, and stats on when and where jobs come in — so you can plan each working day with data.
Which platforms does it work with?
Bolt is supported today — you connect the Bolt driver account you already have and keep driving exactly as you do now.
Other platforms are not supported yet.
Does it affect my normal on-demand jobs?
No. eHail Radar works only with pre-booked (scheduled) jobs — the rides customers book in advance. Your regular on-demand dispatch carries on exactly as it does today; the radar never sees it and never touches it.
Do I need my own vehicle and licence?
Yes. eHail Radar is a tool for working drivers — it doesn't own vehicles, arrange them, or take bookings from passengers. You keep driving your own licensed vehicle on your own existing driver account, exactly as you do now.
How does it work?
Start by setting your conditions: a minimum fare per job, a rate per kilometre, distance, the hours you want to work, a clash buffer between jobs, and pickup and drop-off zones drawn on the map.
Then leave the live board open. Jobs that clear your bar show up as they come in; accepting one is always your decision. Accepted jobs go into your schedule with a reminder before each one, and you can change your conditions at any time — they apply from the next round of jobs.
What do I need to run it?
Just a browser, day to day. eHail Radar is a web app that runs on your phone, tablet and computer — one account and the same data everywhere, nothing to install.
Connecting your Bolt account is a one-time setup, and for now that step needs an iPhone. The app guides you through it after your account is approved.
The beta is open — sign in with Google to join.
Which areas does it cover?
Everywhere Bolt operates in South Africa — the radar follows your Bolt driver account, so if jobs reach you there, they show up here. Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and the rest, airport transfers and long out-of-town trips included.
How do I join the beta?
Sign in at driver.ehailradar.com with your Google account — that's the whole application. Use the same email as your Bolt driver account; it helps us match and approve you faster. New accounts are approved by the team, usually within 24 hours, and everything unlocks the next time you open the app.
The beta is free: no card, no fees, no commission while it runs — with clear notice before that ever changes.
